SUMMARY:Working Group on the Development of the Lisbon System (Appellations of Origin) (8th session)
DESCRIPTION:The Working Group on the Development of the Lisbon System was established by the Lisbon Union Assembly to consider improvements to the international registration of appellations of origin and geographical indications under the Lisbon Agreement and its 2015 Geneva Act. Recent sessions have focused on proposed amendments to the Common Regulations\, including procedures relating to additional requirements under Article 7(4) of the Geneva Act and drafting proposals put forward by the European Union.
